About KITA
KITA is a small-batch fragrance house, handmade in Cape Town, South Africa.
We create perfumes, candles, and home fragrances designed to transform the everyday into something worth noticing. Every product is made by hand. Every scent is considered. Nothing here is rushed.
My Story
I’m Natlee Moonflower, and fragrance has been part of my life long before KITA.
In 2018, I started my own candle and home fragrance business — teaching myself the craft of blending, pouring, and perfecting scents that felt personal, not mass-produced. By 2019, I was creating custom fragrances for private clients: signature scents tailored to their spaces and preferences.
When Tanya, KITA’s original founder, decided it was time to pass the business on, I knew it was the right next step. In 2023, I took over — bringing my years of experience with me and expanding KITA’s offering to include liquid bulk amenities for the hospitality industry.
In 2026, we’re taking the most exciting step yet: launching our first collection of original KITA perfumes. Scents created entirely from scratch, that you won’t find anywhere else.
What We Make
Perfumes — Small-batch, premium quality. Our current range features inspired-by fragrances blended with fine oils from Grasse, France. Our first original KITA perfume collection launches in 2026.
Candles — Hand-poured in a soy wax blend. Clean-burning, slow-curing, made to fill a room without overwhelming it.
Home Fragrance — Reed diffusers, room mists, and seasonal offerings that bring intention into your space.
Hospitality — Wholesale fragrance products and bespoke amenity programs for hotels, spas, guesthouses, and boutique accommodations. From signature scents to private-label bulk amenities, we create sensory experiences that define your brand.
How We Work
Small-batch production — We don’t mass produce. Every product is made in limited quantities to ensure quality and consistency.
Thoughtful sourcing — Our core collection uses premium fragrance oils from Grasse, France. Our limited-edition and seasonal ranges feature locally sourced South African botanical ingredients.
Family-run, female-led — KITA is a family business. We work with local artisans and suppliers wherever possible.
Bespoke services — From boutique hotels to private clients, we design custom fragrance solutions tailored to your vision.
