KITA is a small-batch fragrance house based in Cape Town, South Africa.

We create perfumes, candles, and home fragrances that feel intentional—designed to transform the everyday into something worth noticing.

Every product is handcrafted. Every scent is considered. Nothing here is rushed.

My Story

I’m Natlee Moonflower, and I’ve been running KITA since 2023.

But my journey with fragrance started years before that.

In 2018, I launched my own candle and home fragrance business—teaching myself the craft of blending, pouring, and perfecting scents that felt personal, not mass-produced.

By 2019, I was blending custom fragrances for private clients—creating signature scents tailored to their spaces and preferences.

When my friend Tanya, KITA’s original founder, decided it was time to pass the business on, I knew it was the right next step. In 2023, I took over—merging my years of experience with KITA’s existing foundation and bringing in new capabilities, including liquid bulk amenities for the hospitality industry.

It took time to make it mine. To refine the brand. To build toward what I knew KITA could become.

And in 2026, we’re taking the next step: launching our first collection of original KITA perfumes.

Until now, our perfume range has been inspired by beloved designer fragrances—high-quality interpretations that make luxury accessible. But original scent creation has always been where my heart is. Next year, we bring that vision to life.

What We Make

Perfumes — Currently, our collection features inspired-by fragrances blended in small batches using premium fragrance oils from Grasse, France. In 2026, we’re introducing our first original KITA perfume collection—signature scents you won’t find anywhere else.

Candles — Hand-poured in soy wax blend. Clean-burning, slow-curing, made to fill a room without overwhelming it.

Home Fragrances — Reed diffusers, room mists, and seasonal offerings that bring intention into your space.

Hospitality Solutions — Wholesale fragrance products and bespoke amenity programs for hotels, spas, guesthouses, and boutique accommodations. From signature scents to private-label bulk amenities, we create sensory experiences that define your brand.

How We Work

Small-batch production — We don’t mass-produce. Every product is made in limited quantities to ensure quality and consistency.

Thoughtful sourcing — Our core collection is blended with premium fragrance oils from Grasse, France. Our limited-edition and seasonal ranges feature locally sourced essential oils, supporting South African suppliers and celebrating the botanicals of our region.

Family-run, female-led — KITA is a family business. We work with local artisans and suppliers whenever possible, contributing to the Cape Town community we’re part of.

Custom & bespoke services — Whether you’re a boutique hotel looking for signature scents, a spa creating a branded experience, or a retail brand wanting private-label fragrances, we design custom solutions that align with your vision.
