Some spaces are remembered by how they smell.

Ambient scenting allows fragrance to become a consistent part of a space, rather than something that is sprayed occasionally or noticed only at certain times of day.

At KITA, scenting is a service, not just a machine. We help you choose the fragrance, consider where and how it should be introduced into the space, and set the intensity so that it feels like part of the environment rather than something sitting on top of it.

The Electromist™ scent machine

Electromist™ is the commercial-grade cold-air atomising scent machine KITA uses for ambient scenting.

It diffuses fragrance as an ultra-fine dry mist, without heat or water, and can cover spaces of up to 400m².

This makes it suitable for reception areas, hotel and office lobbies, retail stores, spas, guesthouses and other commercial spaces.

Operating hours, mist intervals and fragrance intensity are controlled through a Bluetooth app, allowing the scenting programme to be adjusted around the way the space is used.

Each machine carries a 12-month warranty and is available to purchase directly from KITA.

Choosing a fragrance for your space

There are several ways to approach fragrance for commercial scenting.

If you already have a fragrance you would like to use, speak to us about whether it is suitable for the Electromist™ system.

If you would like to choose from KITA’s existing fragrances, The Studio Collection offers our in-house fragrance collection developed for hospitality and commercial use.

If you want a fragrance developed specifically around your property, business or brand, KITA offers custom fragrance development through our Origin and Signature pathways.

You don’t need to know which route is right before contacting us. We can help you determine the best approach for the space and the role you want fragrance to play within it.

Can one scent machine cover the entire space?

Electromist™ can provide coverage of up to 400m², but the right setup depends on the layout and how the space is used.

An open reception area behaves differently from a series of separate rooms or a retail environment with different zones.

We consider the space and coverage requirements before recommending the number and placement of machines.

Can the fragrance intensity be adjusted?

Yes.

Operating hours, mist intervals and fragrance intensity can be adjusted through the Electromist™ Bluetooth app.

This allows the scenting programme to be set around operating hours and adjusted according to the needs of the space.

Do you supply fragrance refills?

Yes.

KITA supplies ongoing fragrance refills for Electromist™ scenting programmes.

We can also assist with refill requirements for businesses operating scenting across more than one space or location.

Can KITA create a custom scent for our business?

Yes.

If you want a fragrance developed specifically for your hotel, office, shop, property or brand, this is handled through KITA’s custom fragrance-development service.

Our Origin and Signature pathways provide different levels of fragrance development depending on the project.
