These Terms of Service govern all sales and transactions with KITA Fragrances. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Payment & Order Confirmation
All sales are cash on delivery (COD). Orders will only be processed and dispatched once full payment has been received.
KITA Fragrances is only bound by orders confirmed in writing and accompanied by valid proof of payment.
We reserve the right to refuse orders of low value or small quantity. In cases where such orders are accepted, we may apply additional handling or service charges.
2. Order Amendments & Cancellations
All orders submitted to KITA Fragrances are considered final and irrevocable.
Amendments or cancellations must be requested in writing at least one working day prior to dispatch. If accepted, KITA
Fragrances reserves the right to charge reasonable administrative fees.
Any approved amendments will reset the order processing timeline, and a new dispatch date will be issued.
3. Production & Dispatch Timelines
All sales are cash on delivery (COD). Orders will only be processed and dispatched once full payment has been received.
Our standard dispatch lead times are:
Perfumes: within 3 full working days
Body products (lotions, washes, etc.): within 7 working days
Large or custom orders: lead time will be specified in the official quotation
Lead times are subject to stock availability.
4. Delivery & Risk
All orders are fulfilled ex-works (Cape Town). Customers are responsible for tracking parcels and assume risk from the moment goods leave our premises.
KITA Fragrances is not liable for any loss, damage, or delays during transit — whether using the customer’s own courier or our preferred courier service.
5. Storage & Shelf Life
To preserve product quality, goods should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and light.
The expected shelf life of our products is 12 months from the date of purchase, when stored correctly.
6. Inspection & Claims
All deliveries must be inspected immediately in the presence of the courier or KITA Fragrances representative.
Any missing items must be noted on the delivery slip, signed by the courier, and reported to us within 2 calendar days, along with a copy of the delivery note.
Product quality claims must be submitted in writing within 15 calendar days of delivery. Supporting evidence (e.g. photos, batch samples, or lab analysis) must be provided, and KITA Fragrances must be given the opportunity to assess and resolve the issue.
7. Returns & Replacements
No goods may be returned without prior written approval from KITA Fragrances. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted, credited, or reimbursed.
No returns will be accepted after three months from dispatch.
Where a defect or non-compliance is verified, we will, at our discretion, replace or refund the affected items.
8. Liability & Responsibility
KITA Fragrances is not liable for any product issues resulting from improper storage, handling, or tampering by the customer.
Ownership of goods transfers to the customer only once full payment has been made.
The customer assumes all risk of loss or damage once goods have left our facility.
9. Pricing & Payment Terms
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Payment delays may result in the suspension of any pending orders.
We do not offer financial discounts for early or upfront payments.
